These tools are why weather stations exist, there are usually at least a couple of them in a town constantly feeding the latest readings into a database. Accurate weather reporting requires a few tools or at least some experience. Traffic and gas prices are also objective, you don't have much to guess when your in grid-lock or are looking at a gas station sign. Apps like Waze and GasBuddy can get away with it, because traffic affects many people and gas prices don't change frequently. Weather is a fast moving phenomena, it can change in seconds and for most people it's an afterthought. Then there's the social aspect itself, which I don't like. If it's taking a reading very often, it could affect the battery life on any device. That could potentially be used to track people. According to the graphics, it's showing where your friends are as well as the atmospheric pressure of that area. ![]() I also really don't like this application based on a few other things.
